About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Consultant to join our Canadian Corporate Tax team at KPMG Montreal office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead or participate in client engagements, providing expert tax planning and advisory services.
  • Collaborate with Partners and senior team members on tax planning work for clients, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Plan and organize teams for the preparation of tax returns, conducting and presenting tax research, and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Review and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
  • Contribute to the tax engagement team, servicing the planning and compliance needs of clients, and providing exceptional client service.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience specializing in Tax in a public accounting firm.
  • Professional Accounting Designation.
  • Completed, or nearly completed, the CPA In-Depth Tax Course.
  • Excellent people management skills, with the ability to direct and motivate teams.
  • Highly motivated individual with a desire for growth and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent client service skills, with the ability to understand and meet the needs of clients.
  • Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service and professionalism in the performance of duties.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
