Senior Tax Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Consultant to join our Canadian Corporate Tax team at KPMG Montreal office.
Key Responsibilities- Lead or participate in client engagements, providing expert tax planning and advisory services.
- Collaborate with Partners and senior team members on tax planning work for clients, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Plan and organize teams for the preparation of tax returns, conducting and presenting tax research, and providing ongoing support and mentoring for staff development.
- Review the work of junior staff for accuracy and completeness, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Contribute to the tax engagement team in servicing the planning and compliance needs of clients, providing exceptional client service skills and understanding of clients' businesses.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience specializing in Tax in a public accounting firm.
- Professional Accounting Designation.
- Completed, or nearly completed, the CPA In-Depth Tax Course.
- Excellent people management skills, with the ability to direct the work of junior staff.
- Highly motivated individual with a desire for growth and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent client service skills, with the ability to understand clients' businesses and provide tailored solutions.
- Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service and professionalism in the performance of duties.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage conflicting demands and priorities.
- Able to instill enthusiasm in others to achieve desired results and provide persuasive and self-assured responses to challenging questions.
