The Finance department is in search of a Senior Tax Consultant to become an integral part of the team. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Tax, you will play a vital role within the Tax department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tax provisions and corporate tax filings, including SR&ED and various tax credit applications.
  • Generate necessary tax documentation, such as T106, T1134, T1135, T2054, T2057, NR4, T4A-NR, T5, GST/QST returns, among others.
  • Maintain and prepare relevant tax calculations and balances, including safe income, tax surplus, ACB, CDA, etc.
  • Review commercial agreements to identify potential tax liabilities.
  • Coordinate tax audits with regulatory bodies.
  • Manage and monitor the Company's tax payments.
  • Assist in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation.
  • Stay informed on changes to tax legislation and regulations.
  • Conduct research and analysis on significant tax issues to effectively manage associated risks.
  • Collaborate with the Tax team on various projects, including acquisitions, tax planning, and restructurings.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English, essential for navigating diverse legislative environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Self-sufficient, accountable, and innovative individual.
  • Ability to diligently manage ongoing tax matters with professionalism.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal oversight.
  • Team-oriented approach with a focus on problem-solving.
