Carpenter Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Supervisor to join our team at Cross Blade Framing Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the work of carpenters and ensuring that projects are completed on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of carpenters to ensure efficient project completion
  • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train or arrange for training of carpenters as needed
  • Set up equipment and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Recommend personnel actions and establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Experience in carpentry and supervision
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility and initiative to adapt to changing project requirements
Work Environment:
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Work in a noisy construction environment
Work Setting:
  • Construction site
Supervision:
  • 1 to 2 people
