Job Opportunity: Business Development Representative

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at OpTalent. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering partnerships, and driving business growth.

Main Responsibilities

  • Grow revenues and establish strong relationships with key clients.
  • Develop value-driven proposals to attract new clients.
  • Build and maintain client expectations and effectively communicate them to relevant parties.
  • Advise clients on staffing solutions and facilitate the development of professional service agreements.
  • Actively promote OpTalent's services through industry events, trade shows, and other public relations opportunities.
  • Maintain client and candidate databases and self-generate new leads, appointments, and referrals.
  • Understand clients' recruitment needs and provide tailored solutions to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Negotiate terms of business and close deals effectively.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements and Skills

  • 1-2 years of experience in business development, B2B sales.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the recruitment/agency industry is a significant asset.
  • A proactive and motivated approach to achieving results.
  • Experience in manufacturing and skilled trade recruitment is a significant asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive base salary of $70,000 to $75,000 based on experience, plus an unlimited commission package.
