Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Services Representative to join our team at Delta Hotels Trois Rivieres Conference Centre. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and room change/late check-out requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Secure payment and activate/reissue room keys as needed.
  • Verify and adjust billing for guests to ensure accuracy and fairness.
  • Communicate with housekeeping to track room status and guest concerns.
  • File guest paperwork or documentation as required.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard station and respond to guest calls, requests, and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Run and check daily reports, contingency lists, and credit card authorization reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Supply guests with directions and information to enhance their stay with us.
  • Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns, and follow up to ensure each has been met to guests' satisfaction.
  • Arrange transportation for guests/visitors as needed.
  • Count and secure bank at the beginning and end of shift.
  • Cash-guests' checks, process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, charges, and provide change as required.
  • Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any reports of theft.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • No related work experience required.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No license or certification required.
Working Conditions

This role requires standing, sitting, or walking for an extended period of time. The ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance is also required.
