Warehouse Operations Specialist

Job Summary: RAB Lighting is seeking a skilled Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of inventory and orders through our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders or invoices and inspecting for damages or defects.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to packing slips or order forms.
  • Organize and maintain inventory by properly storing items, labeling shelves, and conducting regular cycle counts.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach and manual and electric pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized, including sweeping floors, disposing of trash, and maintaining aisles clear of obstructions.
  • Assist with periodic inventory audits and reconciliations.
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach and manual and electric pallet jacks (certification preferred but not required).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills.
