Job Summary:

Park Place Technologies is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of inventory transactions, including receipt, shipment, and stock adjustments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a company warehouse, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
  • Load and unload trucks, and handle all warehouse tasks, including the use of business systems to perform shipping and receiving transactions.
  • Read and interpret documents, such as purchase requisitions, return authorization orders, and shipping orders, to determine items to be located, picked, packed, and/or shipped.
  • Perform data entry of all inventory transactions, including receipt, shipments, stock adjustments, and transfers, and document reasons for adjustments.
  • Maintain and validate inventory accuracy, and work with the warehouse supervisor to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing and Field Engineers to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, and perform weekly cycle counts and periodic physical inventories.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or supply chain environment.
  • Hands-on PC experience, preferably with warehouse management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents, and write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and third-party shipping software.
  • Ability to prioritize work to meet customer requests and shipping schedules, and maintain a high level of concentration in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and a team player, with a good attendance record and commitment to work.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
