Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Deciem. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the organization of our warehouse, receiving and processing incoming stock, and ensuring accurate inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the organization of the warehouse, including organizing shelving materials, wrapping skids, and preparing them for lifting onto racks.
  • Conduct order picking, shipping, and receiving, and organize inventory in the warehouse.
  • Gather materials from a pick list and pick retail orders from the picking locations and pack according to shipping standards.
  • Receive and process incoming stock and materials, unload trucks/trailers, and verify packing slips versus receipts.
  • Assist in maintaining warehouse standards of cleanliness and organization, and ensure tidiness standards are always respected and maintained.
  • Ensure compliance with warehouse policies and procedures, including safety standards and inventory control.
  • Verify inventory control and counts to ensure product stock is up to date.
  • Perform operational duties such as receiving, restocking, and replenishing.
  • Label and release stock and orders.
  • Ensure standards for quality, health, and safety are met.

Requirements

  • WHMIS, Pallet Lift Truck, and Forklift certifications are an asset.
  • Attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management and communication skills.
  • This is a physically demanding position that requires the ability to lift 25kg containers of raw materials.
  • Relevant education or equivalent work experience in a warehouse environment is an asset.
