Warehouse Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to join our team at Park Place Technologies. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate issuance, processing, and management of part orders, as well as all other assigned warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a company warehouse, ensuring efficient and safe working conditions.
  • Load and unload trucks, and handle all warehouse tasks, including the use of business systems for shipping and receiving transactions.
  • Read purchase requisitions, return authorization orders, work orders, and shipping orders to determine items to be located, picked, packed, and/or shipped.
  • Perform data entry of all inventory transactions, including receipt, shipments, stock adjustments, and transfers.
  • Maintain and validate inventory accuracy, and work with the warehouse supervisor for approvals of adjustments.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing and Field Engineers to resolve issues.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
  • Perform weekly cycle counts, periodic, and yearly physical inventories.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years' experience in a warehouse or related environment.
  • Hands-on PC experience, preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Demonstrated ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems.
  • Experience with third-party shipping software.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work to correspond with customer requests and shipping schedules.
  • A detail-oriented, team player with a good attendance record and commitment to work.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
