About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Banquet Cook to join our team at Restaurant L'Ambroisie. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for coordinating special events, planning menus, and preparing complete meals or individual dishes and foods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate special events, including banquets and catering services
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for events
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Organize buffets and banquets to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Level one apprenticeship training
  • Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
