Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing guidance on business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Network with industry contacts to gather competitive insights and best practices.
  • Assist in the development of strategic plans and conduct independent analysis to resolve strategic issues.
  • Manage financial forecasts and conduct ongoing reconciliation.
  • Provide program-level change leadership to ensure the vision and objectives of large-scale transformations are driven properly.
  • Develop change management plans for complex programs spanning multiple business units and stakeholders.
  • Direct strategic programs and provide integrated management of subsidiary projects and internal or external stakeholders.
  • Exercise direct accountability for complex programs with multiple project managers and team members.
  • Manage overall program budget and allocate budgets to supporting projects.
  • Provide guidance to project sponsors on the implementation and sustainment of projects.
  • Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, including business, operational, and technology deliverables.
Qualifications:
  • Typically 9+ years of relevant experience and/or certification in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid PMP designation from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is an asset.
  • Able to apply project management methodologies or approaches.
  • Able to manage project and business risks, including project and program interdependencies.
  • Able to resolve project issues effectively.
  • Technical leader viewed as a thought leader for innovation.
  • Able to manage ambiguity.
