Job Title: IHealth Department Lead

Island Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of IHealth Department Lead. This position plays a critical role in leading the development and implementation of clinical standards and guidelines for Island Health's Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of clinical standards and guidelines for the EHR.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure that clinical workflows are optimized and aligned with Island Health's strategic direction.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide education and training to healthcare teams on the use of the EHR and clinical standards.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of the EHR and related systems.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as healthcare administration or informatics.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a healthcare leadership role.
  • Proven track record of leading clinical standards development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
