Job Title: IHealth Department Lead

Island Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of IHealth Department Lead. This position plays a critical role in leading the development and implementation of clinical standards and guidelines for Island Health's Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and maintenance of clinical standards and guidelines for the EHR, ensuring they are evidence-based and aligned with Island Health's strategic direction.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize clinical standards and guidelines for development and implementation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote the adoption and use of clinical standards and guidelines among healthcare providers.
  • Provide education and training to healthcare providers on the use of clinical standards and guidelines.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical standards and guidelines, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as healthcare administration, nursing, or medicine.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical or healthcare leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing clinical standards and guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
