Job Title: IHealth Department Lead

Island Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of IHealth Department Lead. This position plays a critical role in leading the development and implementation of clinical standards and guidelines for Island Health's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of clinical standards and guidelines for the EHR system.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and stakeholders to ensure that clinical standards and guidelines are aligned with Island Health's strategic direction.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of clinical standards and guidelines.
  • Provide education and training to healthcare professionals on the use of the EHR system and clinical standards and guidelines.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of the EHR system and clinical standards and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. healthcare administration, health informatics, etc.).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a healthcare leadership or clinical role.
  • Proven track record of leading clinical standards and guidelines development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
