Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the development and implementation of clinical standards and guidelines for Island Health's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and develop clinical standards and guidelines for EHR implementation
  • Lead the development and maintenance of condition-specific order sets and clinical assessment tools
  • Work with informatics, pharmacy, nursing, and allied health teams to ensure successful development and adoption of clinical order sets
  • Participate in testing events to ensure EHR design meets clinical workflow requirements and best practices
  • Contribute to the evaluation of EHR and related systems through lessons learned, provider feedback, and metrics analysis
Requirements
  • Strong clinical knowledge and experience in healthcare quality improvement
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Experience with EHR systems and clinical standards development
