Maintenance Planner

Petro Canada Lubricants Inc, (PCLI), an HF Sinclair company, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join their team. As a key member of the Planning & Scheduling team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that maintenance work notifications are planned and executed in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain accurate estimates for maintenance work requests to support budgeting and decision-making
- Process and prioritize maintenance work requests based on risk and priority, ensuring they are environmentally and health and safety conscious
- Prepare and release structured job plans, including operation steps, duration, resources, and planned costs
- Collaborate with the scheduling team to release work orders and ensure timely execution
- Review and release unreleased program job plans
- Identify and initiate changes to master data as required
- Provide feedback and support to reliability and supply chain teams to optimize program job plans
The ideal candidate will have five or more years of experience in refinery maintenance or operations, with a preference for maintenance planning. A trade certificate, diploma, or degree in a relevant technical field, such as mechanical engineering, is also required.
Preferred Skills- Ability to understand engineered drawings and engineering specifications
- Knowledge of heat exchangers, towers, drums, and boilers
- Knowledge of piping fabrication, P&IDs, ITPs, and PWHT
- Strong computer skills, including SAP, Excel, and Word
- Knowledge of P6 Primavera for scheduling outages
- Supervisory knowledge of the Ontario Health and Safety Act
