Asset Maintenance Planner

Petro Canada Lubricants Inc, a leading energy company, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join their team. As a key member of the planning and scheduling team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient execution of maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain accurate maintenance plans, taking into account equipment reliability, safety, and environmental considerations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize maintenance work, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Utilize expertise to optimize maintenance scopes, reducing downtime and improving overall equipment effectiveness.
- Prepare and review job plans, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and procedures.
- Work closely with the scheduling team to ensure timely execution of maintenance work, minimizing disruptions to operations.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, enhancing maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance planning or a related field, preferably in the refinery industry.
- Trade certificate or degree in a relevant technical field, such as mechanical engineering.
- Strong understanding of engineered drawings, engineering specifications, and health and safety standards.
- Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and Word, with experience in P6 Primavera for scheduling outages.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
