About the Opportunity



We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Training Specialist to join our team at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and instructing agriculture and pesticide applicator training courses in Saskatchewan.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and deliver high-quality training courses to students in Saskatchewan

* Assist in the development of training materials for agriculture courses

* Work collaboratively with our team to deliver and develop training programs in Saskatchewan

* Evaluate and record student progress effectively

* Make necessary adjustments to course content as needed

* Accommodate students with special learning needs

* Attend staff, program, and division meetings regularly

* Pursue professional development opportunities to stay current with industry requirements

* Practice effective interpersonal and communication skills

Requirements



To be successful in this role, you must have a graduate degree in agriculture or a related field. You should also be a member of the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists or eligible for membership. A minimum of two years recent and relevant experience in agriculture or agribusiness is required. You should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral. Additionally, you should have demonstrated ability to enhance existing programs and provide a positive learning environment.

Salary and Benefits



The estimated salary for this position is $65,000-$80,000 per year, based on your qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental coverage, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
