About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our team at Avanti Software Inc. as a Store Manager. As a key member of our retail leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail location, driving sales and profitability, and building a strong retail team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Management: Manage recruitment, staffing, team development, training on best retail practices, and supervising the team to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  2. Merchandise and Visual Standards: Merchandise products by creating impactful, value-driven presentations to drive sales and maintain visual standards that meet company expectations.
  3. Operational Efficiency: Communicate with head office to coordinate and execute operational efficiency and standards, ensuring seamless execution of sales and promotional events.
  4. Sales and Promotions: Plan and execute sales and promotional events to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
  5. Training and Development: Develop team members by training on product knowledge, stock processing, pricing, filling and stocking floor racks, store operations, warehousing, and company policies & procedures.
  6. Store Environment: Foster an excited, motivated, and well-trained team by coaching and training on store operations and visual standards, creating a fun and exciting store environment.
  7. Team Relations and Safety: Build positive team relations, demonstrate ethical behavior, and maintain all safety guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  8. Store Operations: Complete the appropriate opening and closing procedures for the store, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
Requirements
  1. 4+ years of retail management experience is preferred.
  2. Knowledge of the powersports, automotive, or sporting goods industries is required.
  3. Hands-on working knowledge of retail systems, human resources best practices, and operations.
  4. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with constant shifting priorities.
  5. Ability to complete assigned work and projects on time within a fast, ever-changing environment.
  6. Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are essential.
  7. Proficiency in computer use.
  8. Effective communication and writing skills are required.
