Job Summary

The University of Waterloo seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join its marketing team. This role is responsible for coordinating the delivery of promotional campaigns across various marketing channels, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion of tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks that could lead to project delays, working closely with the Production Manager to streamline processes and maintain momentum.
  • Regularly review campaign plans and timelines, offering strategic adjustments to enhance execution based on evolving priorities and resources.
  • Translate strategic marketing plans into actionable production tasks, ensuring each campaign element is thoughtfully executed.
  • Continuously adapt workflows to incorporate the latest marketing trends and organizational changes, striving to enhance campaign effectiveness.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; college diploma in print production, business, marketing, and/or operations considered a strong asset.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in marketing production or a similar coordination role within a complex organizational structure.
  • Proven track record of managing production timelines and delivering materials on schedule.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategies and production processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an aptitude for multitasking and prioritization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
