Job Summary

The Specialized Caregiver Support role at Axis Family Resources Ltd. involves providing after-school care to a child with special needs in Lumby, BC. This position requires building and maintaining healthy relationships with our Persons Served through a trauma-informed practice.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A certificate or diploma in Community Services, Health Care Aid, Human Services, or a related discipline
  • 1 – 2 years' experience in social services preferred
  • Reliable transportation and a valid BC driver's license
  • Knowledge of complex trauma, Autism, FASD, ODD, or other neurobiological conditions beneficial
  • Clear Criminal Record Check and Level 1 First Aid (including CPR)
