About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team at PI MART LTD. As a Cashier Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Calculate Daily/Shift Payments: Reconcile sales data, manage cash and credit transactions, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Merchandise Handling: Wrap or place merchandise in bags, ensuring that products are properly secured and presented to customers.
  • Produce and Bulk Foods: Weigh and package produce and bulk foods, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Foreign Currency Exchange: Calculate foreign currency exchange rates and process transactions accurately.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced retail environment, maintaining a positive attitude and providing excellent customer service.
  • Work Schedule: Work a regular schedule of 30 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of retail experience.
