About the Role

As a key member of our team at Let's Get Moving Canada, you will be responsible for driving business growth and employee success as a Senior Talent Development Professional. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about human resources management, leadership development, and organizational performance.

About You
  • We are looking for an experienced HR professional with a strong background in talent development, recruitment, and employee relations.
  • You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior management, union officials, and employees at all levels.
  • A bachelor's degree is required, and relevant certifications such as SHRM-CP or HRCI are a plus.
The Job
  1. Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.
  2. Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent and meet business needs.
  3. Direct and control daily operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  4. Train staff on new policies, procedures, and systems to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
  5. Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers, taking into account the interests of both parties.
  6. Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants to resolve conflicts and address employee concerns.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Has 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Is proficient in English and has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Can work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
