About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Colliers Project Leaders. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading building and facilities projects in various sectors, including education, healthcare, and corporate offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the client's single point of contact throughout the project.
  • Build trust with clients, ensuring they rely on your knowledge, skills, and expertise to achieve their business goals and objectives.
  • Work on a variety of building projects of varying size and scope, ensuring client expectations and satisfaction are met or exceeded.
  • Lead project teams, providing oversight and leadership of all elements of the project delivery.
  • Chair project and site meetings, finding resolution to issues and coordinating between multiple stakeholders.
  • Regularly report on project status, providing leadership and mentorship of junior project resources.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, representing owners to multiple stakeholders in the delivery of projects of varying size and scope.
  • Experience in public sector projects is an asset.
  • A bachelor's degree, or higher degree, or technical diploma in engineering, architecture, planning, project management, or construction management (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience).
  • Strong knowledge of various types of construction methodologies, project management models, and financial management.
  • Effective leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of client, project, and technical issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling (MS Project), word processing (Word), and spreadsheet (Excel) software applications.
  • PMP designation an asset.
