About the Role

First Onsite - CA is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead and manage the restoration of properties to their pre-disaster state. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, to our quality standards, and that our clients receive exceptional service and peace of mind.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of restoration projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, adjusters, property managers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with local codes and regulations.
  • Prepare accurate quotations, job costing, and estimating.
  • Manage budgets and ensure projects stay on track and within financial parameters.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, ready to respond to emergencies and client needs whenever they arise.
  • Engage in physical labor, including material handling, lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces such as attics, basements, and crawlspaces.
Requirements
  • Proven experience (3 years +) in the restoration or insurance industry, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and demands of disaster property restoration.
  • Solid knowledge of building construction practices and local codes, ensuring compliance and quality in every project.
  • Skilled in using Xactimate for accurate scoping, estimating, and project planning.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean criminal record to meet industry standards.
