About the Role

First Onsite - CA is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead and manage the restoration of properties to their pre-disaster state. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, to our quality standards, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Client Communication: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, including property owners, adjusters, and insurance companies.
  • Estimating and Quoting: Prepare accurate quotations, job costing, and estimating for restoration projects.
  • Quality Control: Inspect progress and work quality to ensure that emergency and rebuild timelines are met and in alignment with policy and guidelines.
  • Dispute Resolution: Resolve disputes and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in the restoration or insurance industry, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and demands of disaster property restoration.
  • Knowledge: Solid knowledge of building construction practices and local codes, ensuring compliance and quality in every project.
  • Skills: Skilled in using Xactimate for accurate scoping, estimating, and project planning.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, ready to respond to emergencies and client needs whenever they arise. Willingness and ability to engage in physical labor, including material handling, lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces such as attics, basements, and crawlspaces.
