Renewable Energy Project Coordination Specialist

At Alltrade Industrial Contractors, we offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year for our Project Coordinator position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing key support to the project management team on renewable and/or automotive construction projects. This includes:

  • Attending meetings and assisting with determination of project requirements;
  • Drafting and issuing project proposals, RFPs, tenders, budgets, and cash flows;
  • Chairing project meetings and distributing minutes to all project team members;
  • Tracking progress and quality of work being performed by design disciplines/trades;
  • Using project scheduling and control tools to monitor project plans, work hours, budgets, and performance;
  • Maintaining logs for change orders, RFI, submittals, action items, and risks;
  • Effectively communicating relevant project information to the client and project team;
  • Ensuring clients' needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner;
  • Tracking and managing change notice and change order documents;
  • Communicating ideas for improving project processes with a positive and constructive attitude;
  • Keeping the Project Manager and project stakeholders informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations;
  • Actively participating in problem resolution and risk mitigation initiatives;

We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 2 years of full-time experience related to the responsibilities defined above. A bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized university or equivalent experience is also required. Experience with renewable energy (solar or BESS) is considered an asset. The successful candidate will possess strong communication and practical problem-solving abilities, as well as strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work effectively as a member of a team as well as an individual is essential.
