Product Specialist Opportunity at Cooke Inc.

Cooke Inc. is a leading global seafood company with operations in North America, Europe, South America, and Australia. We are seeking a highly skilled Product Specialist to join our team in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a liaison between functional areas of the supply chain, including processing, logistics, marketing, and sales.
  • Assist in data gathering and market segmentation strategy development.
  • Provide input to the forecasting process and manage inventory volumes.
  • Coordinate with product specialists on raw materials used in specialty offerings.
  • Work closely with production teams to understand harvest trends and sales needs.
  • Participate in sales calls and customer presentations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop educational content and sales tools.
  • Prepare analysis for product lines.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a seafood company or a related environment.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of pivot tables, proforma financials, and Customer Relationship Management systems.
  • Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to travel globally.
