Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer Specialist to join our Verafin team as part of the larger Nasdaq organization. As a key member of our Wire Fraud team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, designing innovative solutions to combat financial crimes such as human trafficking, elder abuse, and drug trafficking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with your team to deliver project requirements and design solutions to solve complex technical problems.
  • Mentor and coach team members to help them realize their potential.
  • Complete code reviews to ensure high-quality code and help develop new features, bug fixes, and optimizations.
  • Work with microservices and data lakes to create efficient and scalable systems.
  • Experience with automated testing and willingness to learn and mentor others.
Requirements
  • University degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a combination of education and previous experience.
  • 2-4 years' experience in a similar role with strong analytical skills and creativity to solve complex problems.
  • Experience with object-oriented software development, microservices, and data lakes.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to make teamwork a positive experience.
