Job Summary:
The Certified Field Trainer will play a critical role in the development and growth of our Pest Control Specialists. This position is responsible for conducting on-the-job training, providing peer support, and ensuring the successful completion of our Field Training Certification Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Field Training: Conduct on-the-job training with new hires during their first 6 weeks, ensuring completion of weekly Field Training Checklists.
- Peer Support: Provide weekly check-ins and monthly meet-ups with new hires during their first year, completing associated documentation for records.
- Training Certification: Successfully complete the Rentokil NA Field Training Certification Program, with biannual recertification.
Additional Job Duties:
- Training and Development: Conduct ride-alongs for job candidates during the interview process, arrive on time and prepared for training, effectively train skills and provide ample feedback in a timely manner, and maintain weekly communication with Trainee's Manager.
- Peer Support and Mentorship: Develop a solid working relationship with Trainees, be available by phone or text to answer questions, help shape expectations, and facilitate a successful transition from Trainee to productive employee.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: At least 1 year with Rentokil North America as a Pest Specialist, fully-trained according to Rentokil NA Career Advancement Program (Career Level 4 or 5), licensed with appropriate state/province applicator license & categories, and favorable ratings from most recent Annual Performance Review.
- Professional Conduct: Conducts himself/herself in a professional manner.
