About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Developer Specialist to join our team at Nasdaq. As a key member of our Cloud team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Cloud Architecture: Design and implement scalable and secure cloud architectures using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  2. Cloud Development: Develop and deploy cloud-based applications and services using AWS and other cloud technologies.
  3. DevOps: Automate deployment, customization, upgrades, and monitoring through modern DevOps tools including Terraform and AWS Cloud formation.
  4. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management, to build and manage features that are highly available, high performance, and secure.
  5. Technical Leadership: Mentor and coach team members, and contribute to the technical leadership of the team.
Requirements
  1. Education: University degree or college diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  2. Experience: 5+ years of cloud development experience, with a strong background in AWS and cloud solutions architecture.
  3. Skills: Proficiency in Java, Python, Bash, and React, as well as experience with microservices and data lakes.
  4. Certifications: AWS certifications would be an asset.
