Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and regulatory compliance of our products.

About the Role
  • You will work closely with Third Party Manufacturers and warehouse facilities to ensure that all products meet our high quality standards.
  • As part of our team, you will identify and propose improvement actions to optimize our processes and systems.
  • You will also support customer audits and maintain accurate records of Health Canada and GMP requirements.
Responsibilities
  1. Final release of product intended for distribution in Canada under supervision.
  2. Perform Quality Assurance activities relating to Third Party Manufacturing/Warehousing: AQL Inspection, Maintain Quality Assurance files and trackers, Audits as needed, Assist with deviations and investigations, Change Controls, SOP review and revisions, Archival of GMP records, Maintain Finished Product Specifications.
  3. Propose improvement actions and report regularly on implementation progress.
  4. Track third-party performance and report regularly to local and corporate departments.
  5. Support customer audits; participate, document, and follow through on commitments to Health Canada Inspectorate, Veterinary Drug Directorate, and other governmental inspection agencies.
Requirements
  • Candidate must hold a Canadian University degree or a degree recognized as equivalent by Canadian accreditation body, in a science-related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing/distribution environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, critical thinking, ability to collaborate with others, strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
Estimated Salary

$70,000 - $90,000 per year based on location and experience.
