Dow is seeking experienced professionals for exciting opportunities located in Alberta Operations. This position can be based at the Fort Saskatchewan or Prentiss site in Alberta, Canada.

About Alberta Operations:

We operate four world-scale production units at Fort Saskatchewan, manufacturing hydrocarbons, ethylene, polyethylene, and electricity. Our facility serves Dow's global customers and has the potential to support Engineering efforts for the Path2Zero (P2Z) program, aiming to create the first net-zero emissions site of its kind.

About this role:

You will have various opportunities related to chemical plant safety and environmental performance, process operation, optimization, modification, maintenance, and technology implementation. Engineers use sound technical judgment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical expertise in areas such as maintenance & reliability, production operations, and project engineering.
  • Supporting chemical plant operations, process improvements, predictive/preventative maintenance, failure analysis, reliability strategy development, and vessel/piping design.
  • Maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient operations through technical resource roles, providing support to plant operating personnel.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
  • Strong technical skills, with experience in chemical plant operations, process improvements, and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
