Job DescriptionWe seek an experienced Improvement Manager to lead the prioritization and implementation of plant improvement opportunities. This role will partner with Plant and Operations leaders to solicit and collect ideas, describe opportunities, and implement projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Serving as a business leader in developing and completing technology plans that align with global business and functional strategy.
- Leading the continuous improvement work process to develop and implement Plant Specific Technology Plans.
- Coordinating resources required for technology plan implementation.
- Monitoring and measuring implementation of technology plans.
This role requires in-depth knowledge of technology and work practices, as well as strong problem-solving skills and ability to interface with business leaders.
Required Skills and QualificationsA minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant military experience is required. At least 8 years of engineering, manufacturing, or related experience is necessary, along with registration or the ability to be registered with APEGA (EIT/P. Eng). The candidate must also have a valid Canadian work permit.
