Job Summary

Mercedes-Benz Richmond is seeking a highly skilled Warranty Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warranty program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and prioritize warranty claims, dispatching work to the shop and maintaining accurate records.
  • Invoice and submit all warranty claims in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the accounting department to maintain warranty control and rectify schedules as needed.
  • Ensure warranty return parts are properly tagged, shelved, and secured, and sort and ship warranty parts returns when necessary.
  • Report payment discrepancies to the Service Manager and inform staff of warranty procedure changes.
  • Maintain accurate files and perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary diploma/degree in any discipline or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years' warranty experience.
  • Basic knowledge of or the ability to understand the mechanics of a vehicle.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Desire to exceed customer expectations.
