Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of International Student Network Engagement Manager with the Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association (WUSA) Student-Run Service.

About Us

The International & Canadian Student Network is a student-run service on campus, aiming to make all local, international, and exchange students feel welcome here at the University and in Waterloo. Our goal is to create fun opportunities for students to make meaningful connections with people from around the world.

Responsibilities
  • Attend as many ICSN events as possible and engage students during those events so that we are well connected with our student audience.
  • Identify current interests/needs of the international and exchange student body, to initiate discussion among other executive members.
  • Survey creation, data collection, and data analysis in any capacity for the ICSN.
  • Work with the Publicity and Marketing Director to support event research and brainstorming when necessary.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A time commitment of 7-15 hours per week.
  • Reliability.
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills.
  • An open-minded approach to working in a team environment.
  • The ability to interact professionally with WUSA and the University administration.
  • Strong enthusiasm towards promoting cultural diversity in the uWaterloo community.
  • A willingness to be frequently engaged on social media platforms.
  • Good internet connection/access to a social media account.
  • A high commitment to mandatory weekly reportings and required paperwork at meetings.
  • May be required to be available on-campus for in-person office hours.
Estimated Salary Range: $35,000 - $45,000 annuallyWhy Work with Us?
