Job Summary:

The User Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, resolving issues with computer systems, and providing training and advice to users. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of computer systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and in-person
  • Resolve issues with computer systems, including hardware and software problems
  • Provide training and advice to users on how to use computer systems and software
  • Collect and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and other software
  • Supervise other technical support workers in this group
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users
  • Set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a technical support role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of computer systems and software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and sound discrimination
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel
Work Environment:

The User Support Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team and provide excellent customer service.
