Position Summary:

Account Managers will produce positive sales growth for a specific geography or vertical market with an average of 40-45 current accounts and average of $2M dollars annually. They will use Grainger's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Salesforce, to perform all aspects of business daily. The role reports to the District Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of 40-45 current accounts to achieve sales growth and revenue targets.
  • Utilize Salesforce to track customer interactions, sales performance, and account activity.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience in a similar industry.
  • Proven track record of sales growth and revenue achievement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
