Job Title: Marine Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Surveyor to join our team at Control Union Canada Inc.

Job Summary:

The Marine Surveyor will be responsible for conducting inspections and evaluations of vessels to ensure compliance with industry standards. The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections and evaluations of vessels to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Prepare draft investigative reports of findings
  • Inspect and evaluate material and equipment for compliance to standards
  • Write technical reports
  • Sample products, perform tests and record data
  • Receive, analyze and verify copy for accuracy
  • Inspect vessels to identify defects
Requirements:
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 5 years or more
  • Work site environment: Outdoors
  • Work setting: Rural area, Various locations
  • Willing to relocate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willing to travel
Work Environment:

The Marine Surveyor will work on a variety of vessels, including watercraft, and will be required to travel to different locations. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
