We are seeking a highly motivated Digital Experience Designer to join our team in Toronto, Canada. This is an 8-week term position that offers valuable career-related experience in STEM and ICT.

As a Digital Experience Designer, you will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and promotion of existing web pages. You will also create creative materials and deliver quality graphic and web elements for our website, ad campaigns, merchandise products, and other materials.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create visually appealing and user-friendly web designs that enhance our customers' UX/UI experience
  • Maintain and improve front-end code; build foundational web components that can be reused and extended
  • Collaborate with external vendors on special web site projects
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing team for uploading and editing content
  • Provide assistance in the reporting of SEO/Social Media KPIs, help to set benchmarks and assist with strategic and tactical analysis

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent skills on Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Strong understanding of PC computers, including MAC, Unix and NT
  • Interested in all aspects of design and a desire to learn
  • Strong initiative and self-motivated with ability to work both independently and on a team
  • A high degree of accuracy, attention to detail
  • Ability to work under the pressures of tight deadlines and multitask

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
