Department Manager, Equipment and Building Maintenance

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Manager, Equipment and Building Maintenance to lead our maintenance teams at Valcourt Operations. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our equipment and buildings, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of maintenance supervisors and planning team leaders to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and buildings.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to achieve established budget targets and improve overall efficiency.
- Coach and develop your team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Collaborate with various department heads to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Establish and maintain a long-term strategic vision for maintenance services, adapting to the evolving needs of the business.
- Monitor performance indicators and update the scorecard to ensure continuous improvement.
- Ensure the execution of planned work by working closely with the supervisory and planning team.
- Develop and implement equipment durability plans for buildings and grounds.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards and obligations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in industrial engineering or industrial maintenance technology or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in maintenance management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and delegate effectively.
- Good knowledge of plant and building maintenance, as well as proficiency in Word, Excel, SAP, and Guide Ti.
- Fluent communication skills in French and English, both verbally and in writing.
