About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Sukhman Drywall Ltd. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for supervising workers and projects, coordinating and scheduling activities, and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities with other business operations.
  • Develop and implement health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including hiring, training, and disciplinary measures, as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents to ensure accurate maintenance and repair of facilities.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
Language and Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The language of work is English.
