About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Datacom Technical Inside Sales professional to join our team at E.B. Horsman & Son. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers, providing expert technical support, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to quote requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Business Developers and Account Managers, to ensure seamless customer service and support.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our data communication products and services, including technical specifications and pricing.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to determine their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Manage and prioritize customer inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Assist branch staff with product information, pricing, and other customer needs.
  • Conduct customer follow-up to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth.
Requirements
  • Diploma in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a technical sales environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in data communication products and services.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office Suite and ability to learn new software programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
