Job Description for Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Bolt Wireless Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communication and Coordination: Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events.
  • Supervision and Leadership: Supervise and direct other workers as needed.
  • Meeting and Event Support: Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences.
  • Office Procedures and Scheduling: Determine and establish office procedures and routines, and schedule and confirm appointments.
  • Customer Service: Answer telephone calls and relay messages, answer electronic inquiries, and greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas.
  • Administrative Tasks: Order office supplies, maintain inventory, arrange travel, and set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems.
  • Documentation and Correspondence: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, ability to multitask, flexibility, and organized.
  • Personal Suitability: Ability to work in a team environment, accurate, and reliable.
Working Conditions:
  • 35-37 hours per week.
  • Permanent work term.
  • English language.
