Job Description

We're looking for a skilled Furniture Sales Consultant to enrich the customer experience in our Boardwalk store in Kitchener, Ontario. As a key member of our team, you'll provide exceptional service and product knowledge to help customers create their dream spaces.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Guide customers in their décor choices, suggesting the best products for their needs
  • Provide a warm greeting to every customer
  • Establish connections with customers to build customer loyalty
  • Carry out transactions (purchases, exchanges, and returns)
  • Maintain the visual standards and cleanliness of the store
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 2 years of Retail Sales experience
  • A passion for interior décor and merchandising
  • Ease of using technology such as a Point-of-Sale system and iPad
  • Flexible schedule to work a minimum of 3 days (12-20 hours) per week – including at least 1 weekend and 1 weekday daytime shift
  • The ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg
