Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter to join our Middle Market team at AXA XL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for underwriting new and renewal business, developing and maintaining broker relationships, and supporting the growth of our Middle Market business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Underwrite new and renewal business, ensuring accurate and timely decisions that meet our financial goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Collaborate with the underwriting team to achieve profitable premium and rate goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to improve our underwriting processes and products.
  • Work closely with the Chief Underwriting Officer to develop and implement underwriting strategies that drive business growth.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in middle market insurance underwriting, with a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and markets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with brokers and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
