Job Title: Senior Underwriter, Middle Market

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter, Middle Market to join our team at AXA XL. As a Senior Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting and managing a portfolio of middle market insurance policies, providing expert advice and guidance to clients and brokers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite and manage a portfolio of middle market insurance policies, ensuring that all policies are accurately priced and that clients receive the best possible coverage.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and brokers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that their needs are met.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including underwriting, claims, and marketing, to ensure that all aspects of the business are aligned and that clients receive a seamless service.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, ensuring that our products and services remain competitive and relevant.
  • Contribute to the development of new products and services, working closely with the marketing and underwriting teams to identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in underwriting and managing middle market insurance policies.
  • Strong knowledge of the Canadian insurance market and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and brokers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
