Job Title: Food Service Supervisor
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Lucky's Motel, Restaurant & Lounge. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and service of food to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our guests.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on food service operations and staff performance.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure accurate and efficient food preparation.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure prompt and efficient service.
- Establish work schedules for staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
Requirements:
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
- Permanent position with 30 to 40 hours per week.
- English language proficiency.
