Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Lucky's Motel, Restaurant & Lounge is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and lounge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our restaurant and lounge.
  • Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Source and procure high-quality food and kitchen supplies to maintain our high standards.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and direct the activities of our food preparation and service staff to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
  • Address Customer Concerns: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Prepare Reports: Compile and submit accurate and detailed reports on food sales, inventory, and staff performance.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Offer cultural competency training and awareness to all employees to foster a welcoming environment for Indigenous workers.

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.

Work Environment:

  • Permanent position.
  • 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language.
